North Pines Track and Field families,

As we start our season, I want to answer some common questions.
 
What dates and times are practices?
Track starts April 13th. Practice runs Monday through Friday for the first two weeks and Monday through Thursday thereafter.  Every practice runs until 4:50 pm.

What does my athlete need for practice?
Athletic clothing: T-shirt, shorts, shoes (no Crocs, etc), and a pair of sweats and a sweatshirt to wear over shorts and shirt until temperatures are consistently above 60 degrees. 

What is needed for meets?
Everything needed is provided except track shoes. These are preferred for athletes running sprints, but not required. I have a limited amount of various sizes that I can loan out.
 
Additional Notes
- Please inform a coach of any medical concerns or injuries
- Consistent attendance and positive behavior are expected
- If your child needs to miss practice, please communicate with the coach ahead of time
- Athletes who miss practice the day before a game will have impacted playing time
 
Thank you for allowing your son or daughter to participate in school sports.  As coaches, our goal extends far beyond creating good athletes.  We want them to develop essential life skills such as building discipline, confidence, resilience, accountability, work ethic, and leadership.
