2023- 2024 NPMS School Improvement Plan

Goal 1: The goal is to achieve an 11% proficiency increase in Math and ELA Smarter Balanced Assessment for Special Education students by the end of the 2025-2026 school year, relative to the 2023 baseline data. Progress will be tracked through annual assessments, with a 3% increase by the close of the 2024 school year, 4% by 2025, and an additional 4% by 2026. Tailored support and accommodations will be provided. This aligns with our commitment to inclusivity and inspiring improved educational outcomes for all students. Regular assessments by the Building Leadership Team (BLT) in June will ensure we stay on track.

Goal 2: Our goal is an 11% proficiency increase in Math and ELA Smarter Balanced Assessment for Multi Language Learners by the end of 2025-2026, starting from the 2023-2024 baseline data. We'll track progress annually with a 3% increase by 2023-2024, 4% by 2024-2025, and an additional 4% by 2025-2026. Tailored support, language assistance, and specialized instruction will be provided, ensuring inclusivity and equity. This aligns with our commitment to an inclusive and equitable learning environment. Regular assessments by the Building Leadership Team (BLT) in June will ensure we stay on track.

Goal 3: Our goal is to raise students' mySAEBERS scores from Spring 2023 to Spring 2026, ensuring that each grade level has a minimum of 80% of students classified as low risk. For the 2023-2024 school year, this involves working toward a 5% increase for 6th graders (75% low risk as of spring 2023), a 15% increase for 7th graders (65% low risk as of spring 2023), and an 11% increase for 8th graders (69% low risk as of spring 2023) in the number of students considered low risk. We prioritize student voice and equity, incorporating their perspectives in setting goals and strategies. Additionally, we remain mindful of the needs of special populations (ELD, SPED, McKinney Vento, etc.) when determining access to individual supports and maintaining the accuracy of school-wide data..
